What it does

• Bubble level. Lay the phone flat for a two-axis surface level, or stand it on an edge for a classic tube level. The reading is shown in degrees, percent slope or millimetres per metre. The display turns green with a short vibration the moment you hit level, and you can tap to hold a reading.
• Angle. Measure the angle of any surface from horizontal — shelves, ramps, roofs, screens — with slope percent and roof pitch (rise per 12) alongside the degrees. Set any surface as zero to measure angles relative to it.
• Ruler. Centimetre and inch scales along the screen edges with a draggable measurement marker. Calibrate once against a bank card and the scale matches real millimetres on your particular display.

Accuracy

Level reads your phone's gravity sensor, the same hardware that decides which way up your screen is. Calibrate once on a surface you know to be flat and it will agree closely with a physical spirit level. It is a genuinely useful tool for hanging a picture, levelling a shelf or checking a ramp, but it is not a calibrated instrument and should not be used where a certified measurement is required.

What it does not do

• No advertisements, no analytics, no trackers.
• No permissions at all — not location, not camera, not storage.
• No internet access. The app cannot send anything anywhere.
• Nothing is collected. Read the privacy policy.
