Small Android apps that do one thing well
No advertisements. No analytics. No trackers. No internet access unless the app genuinely needs it — and none of these do. Each one is a few megabytes, works offline, and follows your system theme.
Built and ready
Finished, tested and waiting on Google Play review. The store links below start working the moment each app is live.
Level Coming to Play
Bubble level, inclinometer and screen ruler. Reads in degrees, percent slope or mm per metre, and asks for no permissions at all.
Sound Meter Coming to Play
A-weighted decibel meter with an octave-band spectrum, recorded sessions, CSV export and honest safe-exposure guidance.
In the works
The same rules apply to every one of these: single purpose, no ads, no tracking, and only the permission the core feature actually needs.
Compass In design
Magnetic and true north with the local declination applied, a bearing you can hold and walk to, and a plain prompt telling you when the sensor needs recalibrating instead of quietly reading wrong.
Flashlight Planned
The torch, opened instantly from a quick settings tile or widget. Brightness steps where the phone supports them, a strobe and an SOS, and a full-screen colour light for when the camera flash is too harsh.
QR Scanner Planned
Scan and create QR codes entirely on the device. Scan history stays on your phone, links are shown in full before you open them, and nothing is ever uploaded to a server for decoding.
Unit Converter Planned
Length, mass, temperature, area, volume, speed, pressure and data, converted offline with exact factors. No currency conversion, because that would need a network call and a tracker to pay for it.
The rules every app follows
- Free, with no advertisements and no in-app purchases. There is nothing to unlock.
- No analytics, no crash reporting SDKs, no trackers. We do not know that you installed the app, let alone what you did with it.
- Only the permission the core feature needs. Level requests none at all. Sound Meter requests the microphone and nothing else.
- Nothing leaves your device. See the privacy policy, which covers every app on this page.
- Small. Typically under 2 MB.
- Honest numbers. Where a reading is an estimate, the app says so and says how far off it can be.
